Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province, is a historical city of industry, technology, and education.  Wuhan University is one of the most selective schools in China.  It has one of the most beautiful campuses too.  Many foreign students participate in nearly the 100 different exchange program offered by the school. Known as the “City of Rivers,” Wuhan, sits at the intersection of the Yangtze River and the Han River. The local favorite dish is a hot noodle dish made with sesame paste called, Re-gan-mian. 

The Chinese Bureau of Tourism recommends a visit to the Mulan Culture ecotourism area, the Haichang Polar Ocean World aquarium, and the Wuhan Botanical Gardens. The world famous Yellow Crane Tower sits atop Sheshan Mountain and it a perfect vantage point to see the city. Visitors also can enjoy a walk in the urban East Lake area and fans of history will love the Wuhan Revolution Museum.
