Health Tourism in Thailand - ECARDINC

Known for its temples, palaces and ancient ruins, Thailand is a nation of remarkable beauty and deep tradition. The United States has enjoyed a relationship with Thailand since 1818. This relationship “spans the areas of public health, trade, science and technology, wildlife trafficking, education, cultural exchange, law enforcement, and security cooperation.” (U.S. Dept. of State).  Bordered to the east by Cambodia and Laos, the Southern isthmus of Thailand stretches well into the Indian Ocean until it reaches the northern border of Malaysia.

Millions travel to Thailand for the comfort of its beaches and the hospitality of its people.  More recently, Thailand has become a destination for those seeking healing. The Tourism Authority of Thailand refers to this as “Health and Wellness” tourism.  This promotional video explains all of the different treatment options available.  There are many.

At ECARD we love to travel.   Whether you travel for business, pleasure, or alternative medicine we want you to be well-prepared, comfortable and safe. Learn more HERE about how traveling with an ECARD makes things easier and cheaper for travelers.
