Recently, members of the ECARD team traveled to Philadelphia to attend the Penn Wharton China Summit hosted by the Wharton School at the Univerity of Pennsylvania. It is the 4th annual event and the largest student-run China-U.S. Conference in America. The Summit’s goal is to provide a platform to promote communications between industry experts and young professionals. The event drew support from the Chinese embassy, Pennsylvania government, and leaders in China. Speakers included former US Ambassador to China Max Baucus, Korean Representative to the United Nations, H.E. Cho Tae-Yul, and Dean Geoffrey Garrett of the Wharton School.
ECARD was on hand to learn and to discuss building a payment bridge between China and the U.S. We were pleased to share ideas and draw interest in our Future Leaders internship program from both International and domestic students. ECARD is grateful to have been invited.
